Personal Experience
Leona is a mother of six successful children, three of whom are from a blended family, a cancer survivor, and a gardener and weaver who loves to read. She is a "well-seasoned" person who wishes to share her skills and wisdom through her work with you.
She has completed training in multiple coaching and counseling approaches through continuing education and professional workshops. She brings broad experience as a workshop facilitator and international consultant, working with both business and nonprofit organizations. Her background includes work with medical schools, county mental health, the U.S. government, colleges, and universities. She is also a retired business owner and has served on boards focused on peer lending, women’s support, a community foundation, and two religious organizations.
